Say a Big NO to FIRECRACKERS

Say a Big NO to FIRECRACKERS

We all know the side effects of bursting crackers. Though it is great fun , the amount of harm it causes to the lives is enormous.

Want to quickly run through the effects and after-effects of bursting the cracker? Here are some.

1)Toxic chemicals used in the making of crackers. It can surely do no good!

2) Sadly,it is the child labour who makes the crackers mostly , and they have to deal with the toxin after-effects. A very reason  why we should not encourage bursting crackers

3) Loud crackers seem like loads of fun. But do you know that noise of more than 125 decibels at four metres distance from the point of bursting are banned by the law. This restriction is to protect us from the hazards of excessive noise pollution caused by crackers.
Hearing loss, high blood pressure, heart attack and sleeping disturbances is the after-effects if we ignore this. Sudden exposure to loud noise could cause temporary deafness or permanent deafness , especially in young children.

4)Every year during Diwali , many hospitals report admissions of people due to burn injuries , especially the eye injuries. Many people have lost vision ,  and in many cases it has been someone else who was bursting the cracker than them. Should not we enjoy the festival in free spirit?

5)AIR POLLUTION ! The festival of light becomes intolerable for People suffering from asthma. The smoke emanating from bursting the crackers keeps the air polluted for many days even after the festival. We surely know this. Don’t we?

6)Cracker left-overs take days to be cleaned up! Is not ‘ Swachch Bharat / Clean India ’ our motto now?

Craftsvenue.com requests one and all, to celebrate the festival of lights by ,lighting diyas.

Please refrain from bursting crackers or atleast reduce the number of crackers you burst. Let us not allow the temporary fun leading to permanent distress.

Keep the environment safe & clean!

Happy & cheerful Diwali!
